Kids

OUR KIDS MINISTRY IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOUR CHILD KNOW JESUS AND GROW IN THEIR FAITH IN A FUN, INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE.

SERVICE TIMES: 9:00AM & 10:30AM

PRE-REGISTER YOUR KIDs

We want to make your family’s first visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Please pre-register your children for our Life Kids Ministry to by-pass the paperwork on your first Sunday with us. With all of your family’s important information in our system, your first Sunday will be a breeze. Upon arriving at our Life Kids Check-In, simply type in your phone number and print out name-tags for your children. This will give you more time to interact with your children’s teachers and get comfortable in the Main Auditorium before the service begins.

0-24 MONTHS

Our #1 priority is your baby’s care and comfort. Our nursery workers are trained, experienced, and qualified to take care of your child. We understand that it’s hard to drop off your baby. That’s why we encourage you to stay with your baby in our ministry as long as you’d like while you enjoy our live-streamed service.

2-3 YEAR OLDS

Our toddlers are at the prime stage of development to begin growing in their relationship with the Lord. While we know that the attention span of our toddlers is short, our 2-3 Year Olds Room is designed to give them opportunities to learn about Jesus at several stations throughout the classroom.

4-6 YEAR OLDS

Our preschoolers are at the perfect stage to sit down and dive into scripture together. With interactive bible stories, worship, and activities, your child will be challenged to build the foundations of their faith.

GRADES 1-3

Our kids in Early Elementary are learning how to navigate the Word of God together. Each Sunday, we focus on an individual bible story and what it teaches us about who our God is. Each month, your child is challenged to memorize scripture and put their faith into action.

GRADES 4-6

Our preteens are at a crucial stage in their faith, learning how to stay faithful to the Lord through the highs and lows of life. In our 4-6th Grade Ministry, we not only encourage kids to grow in their faith, but also as Christian leaders in their community.

GRADES 7-12

When children graduate 6th grade, they enter New Life’s Student Ministry, also know as NL YTH.

Questions?

Where do i drop off my child?

When you enter our campus, there are Life Kids signs to lead you in the direction of the children’s area. Check-In is located in the middle of the North wing of campus. You and your child will receive a check in tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.

is my child safe?

All Children’s Ministry volunteers are background checked and highly trained to care for you child. Policies and procedures are in place to ensure that your child is safe from the moment they enter our ministry to the moment you pick them up, that includes regular patrol of our Children’s Ministry by our Safety Team Members.

how am i notified if my child needs me?

At the time of check-in, your child receives a name tag with a corresponding parent pick-up tag. On those tags is a unique 4-digit code that includes a mixture of letters and numbers. If we need you to return to your child’s classroom, we will display that 4-digit code on the screens of the Main Auditorium. At that time, you can exit the Auditorium and the Children’s Director will meet you at your child’s classroom.

will there bE food provided to my child?

Our Life Kids classrooms are a peanut-free environment. Snacks are provided for your child during the service. The snacks are always posted outside the classroom door to inform parents. Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy to any snacks listed on the snack notification.

what do we teach?

At Life Kids, we use LifeWay’s “Gospel Project” curriculum series for children, Preschool through Elementary. This curriculum is biblically sound, engaging and is taught in a fun and age-appropriate environment during each of our Sunday services.

do i need to bring anything?

Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s class. For babies through age 2, we ask that you bring the following: Two disposable diapers or pull ups and a pacifier, lovey or other comfort item.
